Clear Cart is a mobile application developed to help visually impaired individuals and users with allergies shop independently, safely, and with awareness. It operates using AI-powered product recognition and content analysis systems.
Who can use Clear Cart?
Clear Cart is designed for visually impaired users, individuals with food allergies, and those with specific dietary preferences (such as vegan or gluten-free), as well as anyone who wants to review product contents in detail.
Is Clear Cart free to use?
Yes. The core version of Clear Cart is completely free. In the future, optional premium features may be offered through a subscription model.
How does Clear Cart work?
Once the user scans a product with their phone camera, our AI assistant named Limo gathers the necessary information and provides accessible feedback to the user.
How does the allergen filtering system work?
Users can indicate their allergies in their profile. If an allergen is detected in a scanned product, the app provides both on-screen and audio alerts.
Can the app work offline?
Core functions like product scanning and content analysis require an internet connection as they rely on cloud-based AI. However, simple actions such as viewing the user profile can be accessed offline.
Is the app compatible with screen readers?
Yes. Clear Cart is fully compatible with TalkBack on Android and VoiceOver on iOS. All content is presented in compliance with accessibility standards.
Is my personal data safe?
Absolutely. Clear Cart securely stores user data and never shares it with third parties. All data transmissions are encrypted, and the application fully complies with data protection laws such as KVKK and GDPR.
Where does the product information come from?
Product information is obtained from publicly available sources provided by manufacturers, user-contributed content, and AI-driven image analysis. This data is continuously updated to ensure accuracy.
In which countries is Clear Cart currently available?
Final testing is being conducted for full-scale deployment in Turkey. Once officially launched, expansion to other countries will follow with additional language and infrastructure support.
Can I contribute by adding new products to the system?
Yes. If a scanned product is not recognized, users can submit its image through the app. These submissions help expand the product database and improve the AI model's accuracy over time.
